Sabato

Piove a dirotto in Nuova Lazio oggi.

Recovering after a week at the factory certainly takes longer these days.
Wear and tear.

Today's main job is to defrost the fridge (and freezer).

Like me our fridge is no spring chicken and it ices up pretty well. The fridge part went well, but the freezer part is taking longer. The ice just doesn't want to move.
I guess I'd better get back to it.

My daughter is away for the night, but made a contribution to getting that tricky to move ice off without even knowing it.

I hope you're enjoying your Saturday.

Sounds like your Saturday has been about as exciting as mine.

Actually, more so as you had a fridge to defrost.
My visit to the 'bring and buy' at the local hall was disappointing. I've never seen so much tat.
Going to the Hutt Valley tip with Tony and Noel was more rewarding.
The vacuum cleaner and artwork I donated was the stand-out,
I wish I hadn't given them away now.
Really, I wish I hadn't given them away. The two originals that Lynn brought back from Vietnam I donated had $20 stickers on them (the mounting of the canvas cost over $100 each some years ago - I haven't told her yet) and the triptych that I had bought on Trade Me years ago for $250 was on sale at $40.
The vacuum cleaner was $20 - works well and is a 2200 watt model (ask Robert to explain about Watts) which was left in the apartment we purchased last year.
Disaster - but what can you do you have to help out in small communities

The hairdryer on my post was from Indonesia and cost $12.99. I bet you guys up north would sell it for bugger all.

Does the double up now make it $25.98?

Jesus says thank you. You are doing well and soon you will realize he has died for your sins and He is happy to welcome you to his kingdom!

Well I wish the silly bugger would stop dying all over the place and just contribute some money to just causes.
He's got to be worth a few gazuptatrillion dollars don't you think?
