FREEDOM!

Actually, it's not that big a deal.

Okay, 8 days in isolation are over. Though I'm feeling a bit buggered and certainly not up to celebrating. I got offered work today but I turned it down, though I will go in to teach my violin students tomorrow at Settentrionale College.

My two flat mates don't leave isolation until Friday so I suppose I will be their wine supplier.

I haven't really missed being out, maybe because I felt so sick, but it'll be important for me to fit back into society as smoothly as possible. I'm hoping that Peter is feeling better too and feeling strong enough for a trip to the tip or a game of snooker with The Old Girl.

Well, time for me to face the world again... there are cars to juggle (so that I can get mine down the drive), bottles to go to the recycling and a supermercato to visit.

Then there's practice to do.

Ciao tutti.

Don't forget to leave a comment, if you're in the mood.

I wonder if someone will write a song about you?

  3. It was nearly 10 days they took that man away
Now the freedom moves in closer every day
Wipe the tears down from your saddened eyes
They say Richard's free to step outside
Oh oh oh oh Richard's Bass Bag
Oh oh oh oh Richard's free

It was 10 days ago to the very day
Held behind four walls all sick they say
Still we know the story of his kind
And I know what's going on right now through your mind

  4. An old man lay in his bed
Snot ran freely from his head
"How will I play my violin?" he wailed
He tried to get up but sadly failed
He heard joyous celebrations from outside
"Is that the neighbours?" he surmised
It was the neighbours wildly braying
Happy for the respite from his noisy playing.

  5. Rob, I think you might be thinking of Ricky of Rick's Rubbish Collection*. Hey, it's an easy mistake to make. You're still my favourite brother, so don't worry.
