Sunday, June 1st.

Nothing to write about really. Let's see what happens.

Well, Peter will be the only one who eventually reads this, so I can really write whatever I like.

Here's a bus.

And here's a violin.

Which one would you like me to talk about?

I can hear Peter saying, "The bus, please!"

Okay. This is a Wellington bus, and it is a 'double decker'. For many years you only saw these in London. I've never been to London, so I've only seen them on TV and on film. Though there is a London double decker bus in the Wellington area. I saw it at school just the other day. It has been around for a long while and is looking pretty old now. Wellington buses were originally red, like the London buses, but they changed to this new colour. I don't know why. Maybe the buses were made in this colour? These buses also go to Lower Hutt and Eastbourne. In the 1960s (when Peter was in 3P) there was an advertisement for bus drivers that said, "Are you man enough to drive the red buses?" Now women drive Wellington buses too. Maybe a woman driver requested a colour change?

Okay, time for a new topic.

Our curtains in our computer room need replacing.

I bought a new heater for the room yesterday. It has been slow to warm the room up, so I'm wearing a jacket. I've had my coffee. I think I might as well end this post now. You know what? I might have a second cup of coffee. I'll see how things go.

That's it. I hope you enjoyed the post.

Ciao tutti.

    1. For future priests who want to just learn big words and Latin. Oh yes, and a bit about transubstantiation.

  12. He ate too many communion hosts. Instead, he became the best example of transubstantiation.

I guess that 'pulling off' experience you have comes in handy.

  17. Yes, I saw it. The 'Roberts (sic) Line sign seemed quite appropriate for his grammatical skills.

  18. It was maybe that the name was Roberts. Okay, still need for a possessive apostrophe but maybe he had a double barrel name like James Roberts Line. Maybe he married Jenny Line?

    1. Nice try Sheldon Cooper but either example needs a conjunction.

  19. Imagine if every street, road or line named after someone had to have one of those there positive apologies....Molesworth's Street, Queen's Drive, King's Crescent...ok you get the idea.
