Thursday and the rain finally may have stopped.

Just about sorted out the final details for the Italy trip.
It all starts on Sept 24th as we head towards Milano.

Milano
We arrive there on the 26th and the next day we pick up a car.

They drive on the other side of the road in Italy, so I've been practising on our roads in Nuova Lazio.
Some of the other vehicles don't seem to get it.

I think it will be easier when the steering wheel is on the other side.

From Milano we drive to Cremona, the home of the violin.

Cremona

Then we're spending nine days in a little place called Monteforte d'Alpone.

Then it's off to Firenze, Ladispoli, Altamura and Pompei before we make our way back towards Lazio to fly home.

Better go - I'm working today. Violin practice won't start until after 4pm.

Sounds great.
Remember that pedestrian crossings mean nothing to Italian drivers except as a target.

By the way, I hope your sense of geography improves before your trip or at least get sat nav in the car.

Sounds like you will be having a lovely time, I wish you both well and have much joy in the country, the culture and of course, the vino.
I also hope your sense of geography improves, as mentioned by TC, because that's not a picture of Milan on your post, it's New York. I recognised the empire state building straight away.

Robert says "Reading comprehension guys".

That's sort of like Stalin saying "It's OK to make a mistake - let those poor guys out of prison now".

You boys need to spend more time updating your blogs.
