Rhythm Changes.

This is the section that I need fluent chords over. Oh sorry, I'm talking about Anthropology. Remember that I'm playing it unaccompanied, so I need to make the chord progression heard, as well as solos and the tune. At times a bit of each. The B section just contains four dominant 7th chords a 4th apart, so that's pretty easy. The form is A A B A.

Okay, I've got a few jobs to do today, but then I'll get stuck into Anthropology, along with other tunes.

A few jobs?

  • Drop my daughter off at Waterloo station.
  • Tidy up the back bank and lawn.
  • Touch up paint on the bathroom door.
  • Pick up my grandson from childcare.
Those are the main jobs that I know about.

Hey, but I'll get that practice done, that's for damn sure.

Ciao.

Yes, it's a pity that Robert has gone.

Why?

So, how did the day pan out?
It's just a little after 7pm and I'm sitting down, at the computer, eating a bit of dinner. Alone.
I cook for my two flat mates (wife and daughter) but they are often 'too busy' and choose to eat at a more convenient time for them. Fair enough, I suppose. It's time to let them cook for themselves in future.
I cut the back lawn this morning. I did it with a weed eater because there was a baby asleep somewhere next door. Earlier I'd dropped my daughter at Waterloo station. Later I touched up the paint on our bathroom door. Later I picked up my elder grandson from childcare and took him home. Mum wasn't there and dad was busy working from home upstairs, so I stayed with him until mum showed up.
I achieved 45 minutes of violin practice. Not a lot.
I guess it's getting close to bedtime. There is only one other blog to read these days and that blog doesn't update that often. Such is life.
I've just received a very steep plumbing bill (for a little job) that I'll have to try to deal with tomorrow morning. (Nearly $1000!)
Ah well, a glass of wine and then to bed.
Obviously tomorrow is another day.

Oh well, never mind. This old post might be helpful.

Well, that was positive.

NOT.
