It's a bit like using a B Locrian mode over a C major chord.

Robert said this in a comment on one of my recent posts.

"and tell them to turn of the speaker in the chapel when the school is learning Maori songs...."

That's like telling someone to, "Fuck of."
It just doesn't work.
And so Maori songs aren't welcome in a Catholic church?
Mary, mother of Christ!

I'll leave you lot to sort that one out.

Later.

Yes, Robert's proselytising leaves a lot to be desired sometimes.
I wonder if he's aware of his inconsistencies?

My Prowselytising is based on silly teachers...
"Let's use the Church next door for the children to have a rehearsal. Oh look here is a mic. I'll use this to shout at them and sing off key. I know there is a chapel next door and the mic is connected to a speaker in there. Too bad. I'll project my wonderful voice in there. They'll love me like these kids do..."

You’re getting grumpy like me.
Yesterday morning after a walk I called in to a local cafe to buy a sandwich to take home for lunch.
There’s a children’s’ dance studio next door and parents and their little darlings and younger siblings were filling the cafe. All good. What wasn’t good though was the parents allowing their little darlings to run riot in the cafe, yelling, screaming and running while they self satisfiedly looked on smiling.
As I was leaving one little girl was blocking the doorway while her dad just stood there. I had to crouch down, look her in the eye and ask her to move. The dad did nothing. Prat!

The more observant reader will notice that I put an extra ‘ in the above comment somewhere.
This is to keep old Richard occupied in finding it while we can all get on with some useful things. It’s kind of like distracting cats with a laser pointer.

Good boy. There are some biscuits in your bowl by the back door for you.
