I received two crank calls this morning while talking to my Italian friend in Monteforte d'Alpone.
I took time out from my conversation to ring the number, after the second call.
It turned out to be this guy.
Well, bite my lip if it's not The Curmudgeon!
What's he up to?
Is he jealous of the number of comments some of my posts are getting?
Well, that was a low blow The Curmudgeon! Two, in fact.
I think it's time for the RBB Blog Police to call for an explanation.
Capitano Riccardo Testore is on the job. |

A message on the side panel of my blog, in reference to Richard, reads:
A RANDOM OLD GUY WROTE THIS:
"Writing a post won't Bring you gold but It'll fill in time As you get old."
Yes, I know that the poetry is a bit simplistic but ....
Today, when I was at the airport waiting for Lynn's flight from Auckland I was fiddling with the radio, trying to get off National programme because Kim Hill was umming and erring her way through an interview with Theresa May and somehow I must have pressed a random phone number on the 'telephone' connection. The sun was streaming into the car and the stupid digital panel was virtually invisible.
Anyway, some random old guy answered with voice mail and then the random old guy rang back. Guess what? The random old guy was Richard.
How random was that? It kind of gave proof to the side panel of my blog.
Sì, e io sono il papa.
Richard (of RBB)
Yes especially when this song came up on the radio channel I changed to:

I didn't know that Richard was the Pope.
You'd think that he'd have followed the order of things and at least become a priest first.
