Rodney Jonathan and Richard (of RBB) fooling around on different instruments. |
Our PBs play went well. It was really nice to see everyone. We played quite a few traditional folk songs which I found good for practising playing melodies by ear. We'll evidently have another play in a few months.
My violin practice has been a bit short this last week, but I do think about techniques while lying in bed. I'll try to put in some good time today. I have my art exhibition gigs coming up next week.
Zach is a young artist and a friend of my daughter. I guess his work could be described as abstract - hey, it's really worth a look! The opening starts on Monday 2nd. September at 4.30pm with music (me), drinks and food. I'll also be popping in through the week to help out and to play a bit of music.
Well, there you go. You're lucky to get this post this morning because I had a broken night's sleep. I'm not long up. I'm the same size, actually.
Ciao tutti.

Oops!
I wrote too soon in the comments section of the previous post.
The mail did get through.
I'm glad the session went well.
Just a wee bit of advice: Would it not be better to use your hands when playing stringed instruments rather than your ear?
Hey, I never thought of that!
Now go and update your blog.
Peter, Rob and Rich were exchanging sentences.
Richard said, "I'm a gold lock."
Rob replied, "I'm a gold key."
Richard said "I'm a silver lock."
Rob was quick to reply, "I'm a silver key."
Rich started again, "I'm a don lock."
Peter, so as not to miss out, quickly replied, "Well, I'm a donkey!"
The other two boys laughed.
They didn't teach them jokes like that in 3P! They only learned Latin jokes.
Jokes like, "Mater stultorum semper gravida est."
Te futueo et caballum tuum.
But I don't have a horse. I think you spent too much time cosying up to those paedophile priests.
Fathers Ecstasy, Elation and Rapture you mean.
Where is the question mark?
Father Minto would pull you up on that, among other things to pull you up on.
My name's not Mark.
I'll try to get to that opening night.
