Looks like 2026 is well underway.

 Hi, the anti-Christ here.

I'm also the guy who started a little blogging community back in 2007. It attracted two other potential bloggers. They brought their own silly ideas with them. One of them brought this whole bloody JC thing and Catholicism. So, now I'm identified as an anti-Christ. Good job we're not in a Hindu country because I would probably be an anti-Trimurti.

It has been a slightly slow start to my practice this year, but I have racked up a few hours. I'm making sure to include some double bass practice. I'll probably work a bit on playing entirely around the fingerboard on my violin today. Obviously, I'll work on tone and long bows too. I have no real gigs on my calendar. Never mind. If the nice weather holds out a bit, I can open our front sliding door and play some living room concerts. My neighbour who suggested I should practise in a shed should enjoy that.

It's a sunny day in the Nui today. We haven't seen many of these lately. I should be working out on the section, but I won't today. With my bell condition some things can be a bit of a struggle like, for instance, lugging a double bass around.

I might go for a quiet little walk instead today. I can promise that I won't be popping into any churches. Hey, they'd probably spot that I'm an anti-Christ. I just had a thought. Maybe I should give names to Christians? Let's think of a few:

  • Self-conceited-moron.
  • I-don't-need-proof-of-what-I-believe-in.
  • Bible-is all-fact.
Okay, I'll leave it there.

Ho pensato che ti sarebbe piaciuto leggere un po' di italiano per concludere. Vedi se riesci a capirlo senza usare un sito di traduzione. Non dovrebbe essere troppo difficile.

Ciao tutti.

Thanks for the Italian grammar exercise. I'll need to practise this if we go to Italy this year.
I'll give translating a go:

Well, to start with I'm not a ho and I imagine Lynn would take offence if you called her that. I no longer do parachuting and, if I did my leggeres would probably suffer on landing as I'm out of practice.
Thanks for the offer of an Italian po (presumably used) as we will have 3 bathrooms in the new house. I do like Verdi operas which is why we are considering the Italian trip. It won't be risky unless Trump decides to invade and annexe Italy and I cerainly won't be doing any 'dovrebbing'. Thanks anyway.

Okay. Your Italian needs a lot of work!

Might be best if you went to Samoa (it's closer if you offend them) or Seednee. They sort of speak Engleesh in Seednee.

Or why not just visit Rob's mate and his Presbyterian's hall?

Probably having you back in the capital is helping. 👍

"Hi, the anti-Christ here". I never pointed to anyone, you just assumed the title. Anyway shouldn't it be "Hi, an anit-Christ here", the real Anti-Christ will be of Jewish descent evidently. I like "Pro-Christ" personally for myself.
Hey big bro shouldn't playing in Wellington's best all brother band in a major historical video production count as a 'gig'?
