Why is everything about power and money?
Why do old men want to control everything, including women?
I live in Nuova Lazio and I am not rich, but I am very lucky. I have everything that I need.
Want a Cleanskin? No problem!

Things I don't have:
- A luxury yacht.
- Billions of dollars.
- Fame and fortune.
- A really, really fancy car.
- Lots of investment houses.
Things I certainly don't need:
- A luxury yacht.
- Billions of dollars.
- Fame and fortune.
- A really, really fancy car.
- Lots of investment houses.
Oh, and I certainly have no control over the two women who share my house, or their bodies.
I think that women should have a right to be in charge of their own bodies. Women seem pretty wise, to me, about what is best for their bodies (though they don't know how to check the oil in a car - that's why we have men).
Why aren't these old men who are so concerned about unborn things doing something very obvious to help all the neglected children in the world? There are a lot of them. An awful lot.
Okay, my arguments may be simplistic but I just read about the pope (il papa) and he is worth about 10 million dollars. What the fuck? He's supposed to be god's representative on Earth!* He's a rich old bugger in a dress! It's hard to think that he gives a fuck about starving children when he sits on this huge stockpile. Is this what Jesus had in mind? I don't think so.
And then we have people visiting church shops and buying condoms and holy pictures to support the church.
Let the pope chip in for condoms. |
Oh, and what did the Catholic church do when people like Brother Benedict and Father Minto were interfering with children? They moved them around to other places where they could start anew.
This is disgusting!
So, it seems that the USA is working on banning abortions. It seems that they have a lot of Christians. It's good to remember that most of their founding fathers owned slaves.
We live in a sick old world.
Buonanotte.

What a load of dribble John! None of it had any relevance to me and I wasted valuable violin practice time reading it. As for the apology, that Robert the apathetic sanctimonious sinner and toilet cleaner wrote for you, what you did by simply moving those serial offenders around the country is really a crime. The guys in charge knowingly put children at risk. It was a large group of very weird and sick old men protecting themselves and their friends. When Brother Benedict came to Marist Thorndon, it seems he had already been at it elsewhere. He was a very sadistic man and should never have been let anywhere near school children. He wasn't the only 'fiddler' at the school and I'm not talking about violins John. As for Father Minto, after his fiddling, he was promoted to rector of St. Patrick's College in Wellington. I mean, what sorts of morons were (are) running this church?
Hey - there it is!
Sorry but it's quite early for me.
Anyway, loth as I am to interfere in your blog discussions with Robert, I feel I must respond to that ridiculous comment he made about John Dew - " Actually I am pretty sure John made a general apology to all abuse victims of clergy in NZ"
That's crap and he knows it.
Dew, in fact was reported in RNZ's Daily Newsletter thus:
"Before leaving for Rome, Cardinal Dew met abuse survivor Steve Goodlass and two advocates to discuss how transparently the Church was dealing with abuse cases, particularly through its much-criticised National Office of Professional Standards.
During the discussion Mr Goodlass said Cardinal Dew stated his view that bishops had no power to discipline or remove from their dioceses those belonging to religious orders and societies who had been accused of sexual abuse. This included the Society of Mary and Marist Brothers, who have a significant presence in New Zealand.
Mr Goodlass was abused by Marist Brother teacher Patrick Bignell at St Bernard's College in Lower Hutt in the 1980s.
Mr Goodlass told RNZ he was alarmed by the cardinal's comments, as it suggested bishops were still shirking responsibility in confronting clerical sex abuse in their dioceses.
"There is a glaring issue of oversight here and who actually is responsible for ensuring abuse is dealt with and 'safeguards' are actually being enforced," Mr Goodlass said."
In the report John Dew went on in a mealy-mouthed way to say that, as supreme boss, it wasn't his job to censure the wrong-doers, it was the immediate bosses of the priests, nuns and brothers in question - ""The bishop is not able to discipline a particular individual, that is the right and the responsibility of the Local Superior, often known as the Provincial... This is the case with the Marist Fathers and the Marist Brothers.
"If something was brought to my attention about a member of a particular Order I would be obliged to inform the local Provincial, but I am not able to take action in disciplining that individual, that belongs to the Provincial."
What a cunt!
The comments on your posts are becoming longer than the actual post.
Well done.
Thanks.
To Robert, the guy with the long title.
Look Robert, I don't know who the hell you are but please don't impersonate me! Also, I don't know this 'Richard' I am supposed to have written to. I've asked around and a couple of priests have been able to identify you - evidently you've worked in a church shop or two and are often seen mumbling to yourself while holding Rosary Beads. As that rude guy who calls himself The Curmudgeon said, it's not my job to chase up wayward priests. I'm really busy with the Pontifical Council and other things and certainly don't have time to worry about a few kids who get a bad deal. I am, however, worried about unborn children. That's the sort of wonderful person I am. Now sod off and do the sacraments and leave me out of your silly discussions. God loves you.
Sincerely,
Cardinal John Dew
Oooo! Robert! You've upset the cardinal!
Let's not go overboard on this.
Well, for me, yes. Go for it. I'd like to see that.
Will it have long-legged backing singers like those Robert Palmer videos?
Oops.
I wrote my comment before Richard's appeared.
Man overboard.
