What is Richard (of RBB) up to?

I have made good progress on the bouncy bowing for Variation 1 of Caprice 24 and have worked successfully on Variation 9 - the one with the left hand pizzicato. I thought you'd all be pleased about that.

Today I intend to put a rowing machine together and then write a post about it. Today is double bass day.

I'll try to get at least a couple of hours done. Practice certainly makes you better!

Please leave a comment if you want advice on playing Caprice 24 or if you want to ask questions about my bass practice.

"Practice certainly makes you better!"

And "Work will set you free".

Hey! It would be funny if Beyonce played violin and did som bouncy bowing. It'd be even funnier if she did it while on a trampoline.

Just a thought.

Hey Al - I don't mind calling you.
I've got lots of other lyrics.
You want to hear my Bob Dylan-inspired songs like 'Tangled up in my pyjama bottoms', Ballad of a well-built man', 'Changing of the bedsheets' and 'Short and Waisted Years'. You really do.
