Queen's Birthday.

Happy birthday queen.

I'm not long up and I'll look through the blogs. Maybe I'll see if there's a new post by The Wine Guy Express and...

Actually, I'm not interested in the queen's birthday either. I mean, she never mentions me in her honours list. Not that I really deserve a mention.

Richard (of RBB) for service to bass playing while not getting any gigs.

I mean, other jazz musicians around the town would say, "What is she giving a title to him for? I'm better!"

Maybe the queen, as a gesture to the common man, could give out gigs to people like me?

Never mind. At least there will be no work call today.

TC will probably post something today. I'm guessing it'll be of his pretty boy younger self.

The Nostalgic Curmudgeon

Actually, in his latest post, TNC is a bit of a poser. He blames his place of birth on the non success of a pretty boy career.

I'd say that Robert has more of an excuse for moaning. Being born in Wellington seems to give an equation that he will have to do Purgatory time even though he goes to confession regularly and prays all sorts of special prayers. 

He has even taken to making whacky videos and who can blame him?

This latest seems to be like some sort of satanic ritual. I can only guess that he is calling on the holy ghost to overthrow Jesus and his dad so that he can beat the Purgatory rap. Well, to be honest, it sucks when you always turn up at confession and the priest implies (through a line to god) that your confession is just not good enough.

Well, I do hope that these videos don't get Robert into more trouble and that TC can get on with his life the best he can.

I'm off to the toilet soon, that always cheers me up, and then it'll be into some practice. I wonder if those people who got titles today still have to do a bit of practice on their day off?
