Please welcome Catholic Apologist Evil Doctor Richard!
"Thank you, thank you. Firstly please let me apologize for the wickedness the Roman Catholic Church has brought to the world and the fear they create through their absurd threats, like the existence of Hell.
One of our bloggers, a guy named Robert who is evidently Richard (of RBB)'s favourite brother, said (and quotes on THIS blog are accurate), "Richard's beginning to sound like Trent Horn."
Richard replied with, "Robert's beginning to sound like Burt Lancaster."
I decided to invite Burt onto the blog to see if Robert sounds like him.
Burt Lancaster |
Welcome Burt and thanks for agreeing to come on Richard's Bass Bag.*"
"Thank you kindly. It's nice to be back on Earth. I understand that around here it's also called Jasper."
"Yes, Richard (of RBB) does like to repeat certain things. Are you in Heaven or Hell now?"
"Fortunately I made it into Heaven. Someone did that praying in advance thing for me and I was able to be saved at the last moment."
"Ah, so you are like Robert!"
"I love you Evil Doctor Richard!"
"Okay, thanks Burt but we're going to leave it there for today. We've heard all that stuff before. Good luck with Heaven. Watch out for Mr. Linford."
"Mr. Linford? He's my neighbor (American spelling)!"
"Bye all, I'm out of here!"

Well, that was just about as good (irony) as the latest Reacher novel that's really written by Lee Child's less talented brother. It purports to be a real serious post and ends up as a fizzle.
Thanks for trying though.
It's just as well the Wine Guy Express makes an effort.
"It's just as well the Wine Guy Express makes an effort." Yes, and I'm a cheerful Christmas tree fairy!
Well, one out of four is correct anyway.
I wish I knew what that meant.
Thank about it.
Thank about it? Am I on Mars?
I don't believe it!
Well, really it doesn't surprise me. There is and has been so much wickedness in the Catholic Church, Christianity and other religions that I don't believe Robert is unaware of it. The whole bloody Catholic religion is based on threats. I learned that in primary school via the Catechism.
If that wasn't nonsense enough Robert you go on to say such shit that, if I didn't know better, I'd think that you were being facetious and trying to wind Richard up.
Father Minto. A well respected Rector of St Patrick's College in the 1960s. Paedophile. How did that happen? There are thousands of similar cases. Let's not even mention the Spanish Inquisition! This is a church of evil.
It's about time that Robert stood up to this, ideally this Sunday in his church at Mass.
Stand up Robert and ask some questions:
- Why didn't Cardinal Dew admit that the 'horrifying' figures he released were only the tip of the iceberg? The so-called reported figures of abuse are a scam with priests and congregations ignoring and suppressing complaints and not following up on them. Dew knows this.
- Why now when the church has known about the abuse for decades?
- Why not release the records to the press?
- How can they realistically believe that there were only 1122 victims and 1700 complaints when they themselves admit that there were at least 600 perpetrators of abuse? The figures don't add up as these paedophilic bastards don't only fiddle about once or twice.
I'm interested, really interested in what Robert has to say on this.
Things are a bit slow on the blogs.
I think it's time for creation of a new Curmudgeon.
Please no. I'll post right away.
