AG put me on to the communion host thing back in 4P. He believes that the whole communion nonsense is overrated and prefers the Anglican approach which is that the Eucharist is a symbolic act, while Catholics believe in transubstantiation. He reckons that they probably see ghosts in old houses and believe in the Tooth Fairy as well.
Robert said in a comment on one of my recent posts "Dad will have enjoyed your post from heaven." He didn't mention that Bob wouldn't have been amused that he'd appropriated the rugby photograph of him that Richard published.
