It'd be good to squeeze in another 15 minutes on the bass today. That just keeps it ready for action. Yes, as you have been thinking, just chew off about 8 bars of those chord progressions at a time. That can be done in 'habits' time because those are the chord progressions that you really need to memorise totally. Don't forget the importance of those long bows and stating the tune clearly.
