Wise words.

This does not apply to any of our bloggers around here.

However, it is something that we all have no doubt experienced. If you listen to what someone has to say, they'll probably see you as an interesting person. Thanks Rowan.

Peter (aka The Curmudgeon, TC and Geon) is off to Christchurch tomorrow. Best wishes to him and let's hope he has a great time. I don't think he'll be able to write blog posts while he's away but Rick (Bagno Plumber) and RBB will keep things rolling along. Pope Robert I is on my LINKS list, and he writes posts regularly, but it's quite rare to see him comment on another blog.

I have chosen four pieces that I'm practising to play solo, two are originals and two are jazz standards. Playing solo can work well if you supply different devices to keep the timbre interesting - a strong melody with nice long bows, 3/7 chords or just plain chords to remind the listener about the harmony, arpeggios that also keep the harmony alive and interesting solos.

Today is the second to last day of playing through II V7 I chords with 3/7 chords. Am7 D7 Gmaj7 today. I know this progression very well, so I'll also practise chords from my four solo pieces (as I have been doing).

I guess that I should go over and leave a comment on Rob's latest post, just to be friendly. Maybe that will encourage him to leave a comment or two elsewhere. Have a great time down south, Peter.

Ciao tutti.

I might be able to write blog posts while I'm away if I take my laptop computer with me.

Look, I don't have time to chat and listen to your witterings - I have to go.

See you.

If this comment is any sort of example of what you might write, please don't bother. The laptop will be safer at home.

Just thought I'd leave a comment to be friendly too......the art of conversation ...T . A. L. K. Prepare your Topics, Ask questions, Laugh and be friendly, be Kind!

"Be kind"?
That's not what you said on your latest post which I see you just deleted. In that you said something like "Do what you like - I don't care".

Seems that Rob's blog might be changing to a thing called Mostly Bible. The picture of his face, on comments, has been replaced by a gay looking Jesus. It is impossible to get into his blog by phone. Ah well, not really my problem.

I had no trouble accessing it using my iPad. It was in fact easier than with his previous blog.
I left a comment for him alerting him to the spelling error in the title. I assume that he meant to write ‘Mostly babble’.

So, I assume that the other blog is history. Remember how Rob told that woman off for missing out a comma and a fullstop? Normally in a title like Mostly Bible, both
words are capitalized.

It seems that both blogs are running. The link on my blog takes you into the old blog. If you click on his comments, you go into the new blog. I don't get it.
