When the lights go on again all over the world

And the boys are home again all over the world
And rain or snow is all that may fall from the skies above

The lights are back on in the Nui!

Unfortunately, it's getting into practice time.

So, this post will have to be quick.

As I've already told you, it is wet and windy in these parts - an ideal day for lots of violin practice. I certainly won't be going out walking or cutting the lawns. 

I'll start my violin practice with my three habits.

• A warm up. Long bows, intonation, vibrato and playing around the range of the instrument.
• Major and minor double stops, and three note chords, around the instrument.
• 3rd / 5th chords mainly over II, V7 and I chords; but including some others too.

Then it'll be onto the pieces that I am working on.

I don't know if practice makes 'perfect', but it certainly makes 'better'.
