You have four strings to change on The Bob. There will be three other strings until you get to the last string.

And it pays not to mess with The Bob.

For anyone who is new around here, there are two double basses in my living room. They are named after my parents: The Gloria and The Bob. The Gloria is my main bass but, before she arrived, I played The Bob for many, many years. The Bob is what they refer to as a plywood bass, which means that it is a cheaper type of bass. However, I played The Bob on many, many high-powered gigs and he never let me down. A little while ago I put him into 5ths tuning, but didn't like it. Today I intend to put him back into 4ths. Who knows, I may even use him on a gig. Oh, that's right, I don't have any gigs. Anyway, I can still do some practice on him.

Peter has promised us a post later today.

I thought that's a joke that Peter might get.

It'll no doubt be about his adventures down south. I look forward to it. Well, there are no other posts to read around here now. Far less about Jesus and silly, deluded old saints now that an ex-blogger doesn't love us anymore. That's the way the cookie crumbles.
