Five out of Eight. Robert deserves to be pope or, at least, vice pope.

Old Robert Prevost has gone with the name Leo XIV. I guess that leaves the title Pope Robert I free for, you guessed it, Robert.

Have fun boys, but don't cross paths with Pope Robert I.

Interesting.

I bet you were one of those people who saw numerological meaning and connection in the names of JF Kennedy and Abe Lincoln.

Maybe Robert should abandon his Christchurch trip plan and hotfoot it off to Rome before someone else claims that 2IC title. He has the hat after all.

Maybe I should give Leo a call. I'll tell him that I support his social, humanitarian and liberal ideals and ideas but that maybe it's time to toss out all that silly Catholic nonsense - you know, the weird stuff that Robert bangs on about. No-one in their right mind believes that nowadays.

Well, you got a bit off your chest there.

Not much happening on this blog. I think I'll re-read some of my old ones.

Bugger!

I know that Robert loves me but he seldom comments here.

Does he treat me like a Protestant? Hey, that sounds like judging. Maybe the 'I love you' thing is just a front to keep his silly god happy? Bloody Catholics!

THE CURMUDGEON ha detto...

Yes, he does see you as a Protestant. He said: "Protestants think they can work out the Bible by themselves." Bastards. How dare they. Free thought doesn't hold much water in Robert's view of the Catholic Church.

Mind you, he doesn't think highly of me - he's now calling me a Satanist. He said: " Even satanists believe in the real presence, else why would they try to steal the hosts and desecrate them?" Rude!

Ah well, why do we always write catholic with a capital C? That catholic church has a lot to answer for.

It’s surprising that they don’t answer given the obvious echo in this blog.
